Non-standard relationship

Hello,

I'd like to know how (or if) I can include the following non-standard relationship:

Sam marries Maggie and they have two children.
Carter (Sam's brother) marries Cassie (Maggie's sister) and they have two children.
Sadly Maggie & Carter both die fairly young.
Sam & Cassie get together to bring up the 4 children as one family. After a while they marry and have another child of their own.

Non-standard but I'm sure it isn't unique.

I'd appreciate any help anyone can offer.
