Hi Marsha -

No, the "video clips" do not print when you do a report; but will open from PAF when you click "Play." Most of my "video clips" are MicroSoft Word documents (.doc) or Rich Text Format (.rtf) documents; a few are Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) documents.

Your scanned obituaries can be linked just like any other photograph, and will print if they are attached as a main photo [click on the little camera on the individual data entry page]. However, photos printed in reports are only thumbnails, so an obituary would just be a small unreadable blur. It is better to cite "Obituary" as the death source:

** double-click the "s" to the right of the death place event on the individual daa entry page

-- select "Obituary" from your list of sources -- or enter "Obituary" as a new source

-- enter the name & date of the newspaper in which the obituary appeared

-- click the *image button and add the scanned obituary photo. [you should set up a system of file folders in which to store your photos, obituaries, etc.] so that they can be easily and properly linked to PAF.
