Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

From the PAF Help File:

You can mark direct-line ancestors on cascading family group records only.

On the Family Group tab, mark the Mark Direct Line option.

Tip: If the Mark Direct Line option is grayed out, mark the Cascading option. Be sure to indicate how many generations of ancestors you want to print.
