Suggestion: Tunrn off your computer and printer and unplug all cables to the Epson 740 printer. Give the printer a good inspection for jammed paper, out of position print heads, etc.
Then plug everything back together and turn the computer on, but not the printer. Dump all outstanding jobs from Print Manager, or whatever they call it these days. Turn on the printer and try again.
If it works, great. If not, see if the "printer setup" has the "Print Preview" function. Turn it on. Print paperless. If that works, but the computer still jams, your printer may have met an untimely demise. I once saw a huge quantity of "refurbished" models of that particular printer stacked on the floor of a large Electronics store.
