Printing problem... it won't!

Hi
I've just changed computer types from mac to pc. I've managed to import my ged file into PAF5 (with a few errors, but that's another story!)In other words, I'm having a crash course on learning PAF5!!
I've figured out quite a bit all ready about PAF5, but the problem is, now, that I can't get it to print the reports.
I choose the type of file that I want to print, the printer figures out how many pages there are, then I press the print button. The printer makes the right noises (sorry if that sounds silly), but it doesn't place the paper correctly, and then I get a 'jammed paper' error from the printer. That means that the paper goes half way through the printer, then everything stops.
I'm not quite sure what I need to let you know, but I'm using Windows 98, and my printer is an epson stylus colour 740.
I'd be really, really grateful for any help.
thanks
Regina
