Peggy, The next day I did run check/repair with the following report obtained:
"Individual Names pointer (544106860) is invalid. Set the pointer to 0. (FIXED)
110321 Individual Names pointer (1732587296) is invalid. Set pointer to 0. (FIXED)"
The transposition "seems" to have occurred after I unlinked parents from a RIN.
After I ran check/repair, the problem seems to have gone away, until a few days later, I unlinked parents from another RIN. In testing, I noticed that the transposition was again occurring routinely, always to the same indidual, the same RIN as in my first note.
After rerunning check repair, the problem now seems to have gone away.
I now run check/repair more often.
One further question please. After fixing the problem, I rerun check/repair and still get the same report (even when I have deleted the old check rpt). I was expecting a clean report.
When you say contact support, how should I do that, by this board?
