You didn't say where you found your family tree. If it is on one of the CDs, you might as well change your name to fit it because it isn't likely they would recall a bunch of CDs to correct an error.
If it is on some one's web site, you could send them an e-mail and tell them of the error. The same for a tree posted on a larger server, your best bet is to appeal to the submitter, and hope they can and will correct it.
Most of thewe trees are submitted by amateurs like myself, and they (we) make a few mistakes.
