Deleting a descendancy is fairly easy to do with PAF 5. I assume you have the file in a separate file from your main PAF archive --- so: 1. go to advanced search & select the progenitor of the descendancy you want to delete; 2. select "descendants" --- or (probably better) "all related;" 3. then click on the DELETE button on the bottom of the screen. PAF will tally up all the folks in the current filter set and will prompt you to verify that you really do, indeed, want to delete them all. If you answer yes, then they are gone (forever, so you will want to have a backup just in case the ones you deleted are the ones you want to keep!) -- Cliff in Virginia William C.
