Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

I just noticed your post, so maybe you have already figured this out. However, if not, you need to convert your PAF 2.0 to 3.0 and then you can open it directly into 5.0 or the new version is 5.2. Do you have an LDS Stake Center or a Family History Center in your area? (You don't have to belong to the Church, they would still love to help you out.) They will do it for you gladly and send you home with a disk you can enter right into your new PAF.
