Re: SHOULD I UPGRADE TO 4.0?

I just downloaded PAF 4.0.2.31 this morning. My modem is a 56000 baud unit but the lines are somewhat less than could be desired so it said it was connected at 36000. It took about 32 minutes for the download and about five minutes to install the program in the folder of my choice. I now have 4.0.1 and 4.0.2 in seperate folders and with seperate shortcuts on the desktop and both seem to run, although they seem to share the same data files. If one corrupts the data, it will probably be reflected in the other so I would reccomend deleting the earlier program as soon as you determine that the new one is working.
I am not farmiliar with any version earlier than 4, but it seems that I heard that 4 is the first true Windows version. As far as problems with this program, I think most are caused by operator error, someone didn't read or understand the instructions. I think this forum has very few complaints in proportion to the number of people who are using the program.
Go ahead and upgrade. I don't think you will regret it.

Good luck, Alfred
