Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Joyce, there are several options available to you, but I guess the easiest and complete way is to send a GEDCOM file to your relatives. The "USER'S GUIDE" you will find under HELP on the top tool bar in PAF, will give you all the instructions you need (just search for GEDCOM).

Then, when you have created the GEDCOM (remember where you saved it on your hard drive) you can attach it to an e-mail and send it off. Do this by first writing your e-mail, then click INSERT and select FILE. Locate your GEDCOM (use BROWSE) and click INSERT. You will then see the icon for the GEDCOM "appear" on your message as an "attachment".

When your relative receives the GEDCOM attachment, they can open and view it with their PAF program (or any other genealogical program).
