Using the rtf file in PAF

Hi, A dear cousin sent me a rtf file that has the family I would like to add into my PAF program. I searched the Paf help forum and cannot get to a answer telling me how to do this. Can I add the rtf file into a gedcom file using something like import. OR is my only option to hand type everyone into my database. Would like to save this if I can.
