Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Create a focus list --> Advanced search; find the progenitor of the descendants you want to delete (& double & triple check); then Select Descendants." Then, while these 300 folks are selected, click on "Delete." PAF will ask you one time, "Do you really want to ---;" once you answer YES then all 300 folks are deleted at once.

I would make a back-up copy first, just in case I ended up deleting the wrong 300 folks!
