PAF5--Can't edit old notes; they do print.

Thanks to John Moran for answers and suggestions on last problem posted. I had a Nimda virus (came through a vulnerability in Word 97 by e-mail). Cleaned that up, installed new Norton Anti-Virus. Still can't bring up old notes to edit in PAF5--just get a blank screen. I just want to see my old notes and make minor changes and add new info. When I print reports, my notes (from the past) are all still there. Why can't I see them to add and make changes?? I have Windows 98se. I note several problems for those of us with Windows 98se and Word 97 and PAF5. I had converted from old PAF 2.31 to PAF5 and everything was fine apparently until I got the virus. Should I uninstall PAF5 and reinstall? Will that help? I got a new Hewlett-Packard 1200 LaserJet printer in November, about time the editing problem with PAF5 started. Any connection?? Thanks to those of you who seem to know what to do!
