Personal Ancestor File Problems
Posted by: Pat (Kearney) Castro Date: July 29, 1998 at 00:21:40

Has anyone any idea how my relatives have become scrambled in my PAF 2.31 program? All was well and I printed out many charts with my old DOS-only computer and compatible printer. Then I got a new computer with Windows 95 and I can't print PAF with my new HP DeskJet 820Cse. I bought a program called PAFMate from a company in Canada, which I was assured would print my charts, FGS, etc. thru' Windows. Well, they look nice, OK, but my grandson was my husband, my ex husband was my greatgrandfather, my father and his paternal line is gone completely. What can I do? I sent a copy of my back up to PAF support in SLC, and they said it was OK, but it isn't. It's mess! I've tried editing, but it's an endless nightmare. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you in advance.
