From what is stated in the "GEDCOM Standard" literature, that sounds as though it is possible. Not being fully conversant with that procedure, I would be only guessing, but I would presume that you would need to have the facility to create a GEDCOM from OUTSIDE any genealogical program. That would mean having the "source" code for GEDCOM in the form that it could be run as a program on its own. Perhaps the Family History Department could put you in contact with someone in the programming area that could assist you further, if you need to pursue this in depth.
