I downloaded PAF 5, and used it ok, but when i was given a floppy gedcom disc, my PC only showed one file on the floppy. A message said a second file was needed, (it had a long name ending I think in .dll) but all I have on the floppy discdirectory is one quite small file.
A friend's pc can read the gedcom floppy, why can't mine? Have I missed out something in downloading?
I have scanned the floppy disc and there are no faults on it.
Can you solve the mystery, because I would really like to import this gedcom material from Family Tree Maker.
