What version of Word ar you using? Both of the reports you mentioned look quite similar to me in Word97 and in the PAF5 hard copy preview. It is possible, if you have an older version of Word, that the line drawing functions might not be present, and that a cruder form might be displayed and printed.

However, if the recipient of your e-mail has a current version of Word or WordPerfect 9, the files should open OK on the other end.
