Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

I am using PAF-4 and I Thought I found the answer in the HELP files. Upon reading your post just now I think you were asking for something a bit different, But I already had this written ;-)
click on 'Help' - 'Help Topics' Then select 'Index' look for "Sources" slide down to "adding". Now click on 'display,'
The bottom choice shown is "To add an existing source to an individual or marriage record". Click on that, and you should be home free.

Good luck, Alfred
