FTM Gedcom to PAF 4

I just had to try it on my database. I got a message that FTM-6 was trunciating some of the strings when I imported a GEDCOM to it from FOW-7 so maybe my strings were already shortened. But Here is what I did:
Export for FTM-6
(I exported the entire Database (7272 individuals))
Select File
Select Copy, Export Family file ( or if a partial file Copy, export individuals in tree)
Selectin 'save as type' GEDCOM(*.GED) --Navigate to the folder where you want to save the fileand type a name for the file,
Hit the save button.
select the destination, (I didn't change the defaults, might have had better luck had I choosen PAF, but it worked with the default, FTM)
Hit OK and wait till done.

To import into PAF-4
Click on File
Click on import, then find your GED file and double click on it.( or select it and click on import)
I selected the option of saving list to notes,( I hate trying to find line # 57483 to figure where an error occurred)
I had 74 errors, all on individuals, a lot of them because I had imported a ged with different birth dates so two were listed.they should be in the notes, butI havn't checked yet. Everything proceded according to plan.
