Its not clear what you mean by a Relationship.
If you mean the "Parent Link" relationship, you can modify it by Right Clicking on the child in the Family View, select Edit Parent Links, and choose the Relationship to Parents. But remember, the "Biological" relationship does NOT show, blank is its default.

If you mean the relationship to the root person at the status bar, then you must go to Tools>>Preferences>>File>>Relationship Indicators>>Change. Select your root person, and then check the "Show relationship on Status Bar" and click OK. If you have already done this, then you may need to re-build the relationship table. Uncheck-the-box/OK, and then Check-the-box-again/OK rebuilds the table.
You will now see the relationship of the highlighted individual on the status bar, if you are showing the status bar (Windows menu option).
