Hi Coralyn!
Not quite sure what you mean by a "UDL". My computer search dictionary does not list that abbreviation. However, just a few questions to determine what you did. When you installed PAF did you close down ALL the programs you had running, even the ones in the back ground? You would have done this by pressing CTRL-ALT-DELETE, highlighting each program listed in the box that pops up and clicking END TASK for ALL except EXPLORER (your Windows program) and SYSTRAY. When that was done did you do a normal Windows install by clicking START | SETTINGS | CONTROL PANEL | ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS and browsing to where you had downloaded PAF setup to?
If they weren't the steps you followed, I would suggest you delete the current faulty insatllation of PAF and do the above steps (I presume you have not added new data to this program?). If that doesn't work, then you most likely have a faulty download. But try those steps first before you go through that long download - it may save you some time.
