I have an old Macintosh Performa desktop. My geneological history operates on PAF Version 2.0. I am trying to transfer the data to a new PAF file on my Dell laptop. Supposedly that can be done. However I cannot get the PC to read the old Macintosh file. I am told if I e-mail the file then someone familiar with the software can convert it. However they say I must not compress the file and e-mail it compressed. Is there a way to e-mail the file and not compress it from the Macintosh. Is anyone familiar with converting the PAF file from a Macintosh to a PC format?
