I'm now happily back with 4.0

Hi, after having some major problems with 5.0 I have deleted it and gone back to the earlier version now and I am once again happy that I can now display, seach and read all of my file once again. One question though, I have read quite a few postings concerning the problems I have been having myself and what I don't understand is if a computer is supposed to be running out of space in the swap file how come the problem doesn't occur with earlier versions of PAF? I have not added any new people into the file it's the same 5000 odd that I had with the earlier version. There is probably a reason but as I know next to nothing about computers I just had to ask as I will now be wary of updating my earlier PAF ever again.
regards
Jacinta (a very novice computer user) in Australia
PS I still think PAF is the BEST!
