Paf 4. and advanced search

Hi, i wondered when I am in advanced focus search and want to search the notes for a place name, say Sprotbrough, and I am not sure it I have alsways spelt the name in the same format. Can I use wildcards. Say Sprot* to filter out this field. I have tried it and it does not work. Am I not doing it right. Help gratefully appreciated.
