Thanks for your help. BUT I am sorry to say that yes I did remove it through the add/remove program as you suggested. I then searched the whole computer for anything with PAF5 in the name.
Just to make sure I did it all again, and with the same results. It locks my computer up as tight as a drum, and the only way out is with the reset button. (My computer will not even let me turn the power off until a proper Windows shut down is performed, and then it turns the power off itself.)
Any other suggestions or am I doomed to use PAF4 for the rest of my life? :-)
