I just did a search of my C: drive for COMCTL32.DLL and found two copies of it. One in C:\Windows\System and one in C:\Windows\sysBckup. it is 556KB in size and my copy was last modified 11/05/1999 12:00 AM. -- Which is the same date and time stamp as several MS Internet Explorer files. So I suspect it has more to do with your browser than with PAF. (The name ComCtl32 sounds like Comunication Control 32 bit too. Maybe you should install a new browser)
To check to see if you have it on your computer"
Go to the Windows "Start" menu
Selece "Find" - "Files or Folders"
Enter "COMCTL32.DLL" on the 'Look in' line (w or wo " ")
Leave 'Containing text' blank
On the Look in line you can select "Local hard drives" or "C:"
It should at least be in C:\Windows\System, if it isn't there and you find it somewhere else, copy it there and see what happens.
