I have the same problem almost. I imported a GEDCOM and all the children are sorted by record numbers and I want to sort them by birth dates, but have over 50,000 in the data base. Doing one family at a time is too time consuming. Have you found a fix yet? I have used many different programs and found that Brother's Keeper will let you change all of them at once but do not like all the features of that program. So I'm using several programs to get the end result I want which is also time consuming.
