Hello! I have just started investigating my family tree and have been given copies of some work done by a cousin of my Dad's. We 'stem' from a Richard Padley born in 1786 in Chipping Norton. And I think his parents were a William Padley, who married an Ann Pearce in 1773, in Chipping Norton. Is this William the son of your 1745 William? We have found reference to a William marrying someone in 1745, who was witnessed by a Robert Gardner.

Any information you could give would be greatly appreciated, and if you would like to know more about my Richard, then let me know!
