John Padley (father George Padley born 1761 mother Sara Hancock b) married Hannah Atkins they are my great grandparents, Have spoken to my Aunty she still lives in Chippy and knew your Granfather Ernie he was known as Tadd Padley, locally was one of his son's named Walter (MP for Ogden in Wales) what was your father name he probably went to school with my Dad.
Know more about family can let you know if you what. They were mainly stonemason in the cencus of 1871 there were 23 Padley's livin in Rock Edge twenty years later there were only 5 listed must have all been out something to do with the tax system.
