I have only recently started to look up my family tree. I just noticed your message.
I have come across my great grandfather Charles Padley [ possibly a brother to your George]. Charles was born in 1841 in Blankney. He married Henrietta Oswin [dressmaker] born 1853. Married in Wisbeach 1876. They had children George b.1883 [my grandfather], Henrietta b.1885, Walter b.1887, Hilda b.1888, Frederick b.1890.
