Padilla, Gurule, Gallegos, Martinez, Garcia and Native connection
Posted by: Linda Padilla-Jeffcoat (ID *****0813) Date: May 22, 2006 at 20:26:27

All,

I am desperately searching for the 'connection' as I have seen in newspaper articles regarding the Padilla, Gurule, Gallegos, Martinez, Garcia lineage and the Native American ties with these names. My Grandma Tircia Gallegos-Padilla married Abdon Manuel Padilla and did an article for either the daughter of the pioneers of Colorado or the daughters of the pioneers of Utah. This article contained information indicating her blood lineage to both Cherokee and Ute blood. If anyone can help it would be MOST appreciated.

Sincerely,
Linda Padilla-Jeffcoat
