There are Buxtons married into my Goins family, and Padiers (Padilla) married into the Goins too...My 3rd g-grandfather was Joseph Antoine Padilla, and he was Choctaw...His father was Apache..Antoine was born in LA, where many Apaches went...Choctaws were also there...There is the Ebarb Choctaw/Apache Tribe there in LA and who are descended from the early ones there...I found my Antoine's parents in information from the tribe...I don't think Antoine's family were ever spanish, but got the spanish name the same way a lot of Indians here got english names...but no way to know for sure...
