Obituary of RUTH ALICE (Palmquist) PADGETT (14 July 1915 -30 Apr 1990)
RUTH A. PADGETT, 73, Excelsior Springs, (MO) died April 30, 1990 at the Excelsior Springs Medical Center. She was born in Salt Lake City and lived in Denver before moving to Excelsior Springs in 1988. Mrs Padgett was a seamstress for 25 years, retiring early in the 1980s. She was a Catholic. Survivors include three daughters, Margaret Gadd, Excelsior Springs, Nancy Plase, St. Augustine, Fla., and Barbara Padgett, Denver; two brothers, Melvin Palmquist, Denver, and Roland Palmquist, Windsor, Colorado; three sisters, Katherine Laumann, Pine, Colo., Florence Davis, Denver, and Carol Palmquist, Shreveport LA.; eight grandchildren; and a great grandson. Memorial services will be in Denver: cremation. Published in The Kansas City Star, May 1, 1990.
