Hallo again.
Thanks for the messages.
I'm glad you and rosa have made a connection.
I didn't know there were so many Isaacs, and I have not used the computer before in my research so I probably haven't checked the sources you mentioned,(yet).
Most of the stuff I have done has been at the mormon church in coventry, but now I'm into the parish registers and I'm trying to work out what diffrence that makes.
I don't as yet actually know where my Isaac was born,I'm sure it was Somerset as his son Thomas was born in Frome.
Isaac Married a Shusannah Blacker, I have found a shusannah blacker from frome but haven't found the marriage cert yet.
Isaac was an engineer and moved the family to wales.
I have found a death cert for an isaac registered in Newport 1860 and will see If I can tie this in.
If this is him then they moved to wales a lot earlier than I thought they did.
I have had a look at some of the notes on the padfield forum and am very interested in some of them.I think I may have more direct links to these as they are in frome, but I can't work out how to reply to them.
bye for now julie
