I'm Seeking information on Doctor William Paddock. William Paddock is listed on the US Army Register of enlistments as having enlisted on June 29, 1813. His rank is given as Surgeon's Mate and that he was assigned to the 30th Regiment of Infantry. No age, place of birth or personal description is given. He appears on Muster Rolls from June 30 to November 30, 1813 as present for duty, orders dated Plattsburgh July 15, 1814 and his name appears on Muster Rolls of July 28, 1814. He resigned his commission on September 29, 1814.

My museumhas has his officer's commission, but I have no idea where it came from. I woudl like to put together a brief biography on him for the records.
