There are three Paddocks in Ky at that time with extensive records, Jonathan, Reuben, and William. As in the other post Harrison Co was also the destination of a related family, the Paines/Paynes. Miriam Paine, daughter of Samuel Paine, married Henry Paddock son of Ebenezer. About 1800 the Paddocks and Paines moved to Ohio. About 1810 as I recollect Jonathan Paine and a brother moved to Harrison Co, both brothers of Miriam.

From that I would suggest looking at Ebenezer Paddock as father of your John (Jonathan). I don't have my notes with me but there is plenty of good info on the Paddocks online.
