Hi,
Hope someone can help unwind the confusion about Robert and his parents.
I have found several different versions on the Internet. Obviously all cannot be correct.
I have Jean/John Paddock/Padoc born in Ireland and born in France (probably France is correct)
I have his wife Jeannett/Jane Jennin/Jennings born in Ireland and born in France. Also married in both places.
Then we have Robert born in England, France and Ireland. (I believe Ireland is correct).
If he is the one who came to Massachusetts and married Mary Holmes he would have been up in years to have children in 1634-47. There is another Robert Paddock born in England on 1605. Are there two Roberts? Or is the one born 1584 the father of those born in Massachusetts from 1634 to 1647?
I am a descendent through Charity Paddock (Thomas(5, Ichabod(4, Zacheriah(3, Zacheriah(2,Robert(1) who married Jacob Bates.
Any help clearing up this confusion wouls help.
