Karen, I am grasping at a straw here...I have a Thomas and Jane Paddock who showed up on a Newfoundland census for the year 1836...I have no idea where they came from in England. One of their sons George claimed to have been born in England in 1832...other sons included John and Eli [ who was actually born here in Nfld in 1843 as I've found his birth record] and a daughter , Emma. The only info I have age wise to go on is that Jane nee? Paddock would have been born in 1800 as her obit in Nov 1882 gives an age of 82 yrs. Are you missing a Thomas and Jane?
