Hi Margaret!

I haven't done any more to the database for some time, though I have been able to find the borths of both John Edward and John Frederick PADDOCK listed.

John Edward PADDOCK's birth was registered in June Quarter 1910 in Ellesmere (ref: 6a 672). John Frederick PADDOCK's birth was registered in September Quarter 1876 in Forden (ref: 11b 221).

There is another birth in Forden from the same time as John Frederick's was registered:

Charlotte Ellen b.Mar Qtr 1876

Thus suggesting that John Frederick had at least one sister. There are other births in Forden listed but the gap between these two and those others is nine years.

Ellesmere was a veritable spawning ground for the PADDOCK family, being the most popular place name on my database to date.

Hope this is a help, will have more info soon so come back at some point in the future.

Graham :)
