James Paddison, Little Carlton, Lincoln

I am interested in finding out about the parents of James Paddison m. Sarah Codd, May 15th 1838 at Little Carleton, Lincoln. Had William (1840?) and Albert (1841) before emigrating in 1841 to Etobicoke, Ontario Canada. The family finally settled in Simcoe County Ontario and had Thomas Edward (1845), James, Sarah Elizabeth (1853), Mary Ann (1850) and Christopher (1859). James' father's name was Thomas and he is listed on James' marriage certificate as a threshing machine proprietor.
Any information would be most welcome.
