Here's something on his marriage to Amelia, viz.:

Pallot's Marriage Index for England: 1780 - 1837 (via ancestry.com)

Padbury, Wm
Spouse: Redenton, Amelia Marriage Date: 1825
Parish: Clerkenwell

Redenton, Amelia
Spouse: Padbury, Wm Marriage Date: 1825
Parish: Clerkenwell

The actual image of each party's index card shows that the marriage took place at St James's Clerkenwell, a London parish (Church of England). Amelia's card shows that she marked the register with an X rather than signing it. William was apparently able to write his name. No further details are shown. The witnesses' names will be in the original marriage entry.

Random act of genealogical kindness.
Richard
