Eleazer's mother was Mercy Ford, daughter of Andrew and Mercy (Reed) Ford, and widow of Joseph Richards. See 119:118 and 137:35 in Elizabeth (Cobb) (Stewart) Eastwood, "Descendants of Andrew Ford of Weymouth, Mass." (New England Historical and Genealogical Register, 119 [1965]:6-14, 102-126, 179-200, 250-259; 120 [1966]:38-55; Additions and Corrections: 137 [1983]:34-51). This series was reprinted as "The Descendants of Andrew Ford of Weymouth, Massachusetts: Part I: The First Six Generations" (Montpelier, VT: Capital City Press, 1968).
