Hello,
I'm just finding your posting from several years ago.
Unfortunately, when Antonio "Tony" PACHECO was killed in a car accicent in MA in 1928, he left a wife, pregnant with twins, and with 5 other children to raise. It is my "guess" that she became angry, as she very rarely spoke about him to her children and grandchildren.Worse, both twin boys born a month after the accident died, one at 4 mos. and one just after turning 2.
From his death-certificate, I found out he had been born in a small village just outside of Ponta Delgada, Sao Miguel ~1885.And, his parents were Joao PACHECO and Jacintha COSTA.Unfortunately, that's all I know. So, I don't know if he had siblings, uncles, aunts, or cousins in New England. And, Elsie told the family that the other PACHECO's in Cambridge, MA, were not related to them.Researchers tell me they were related.
