Ventura was already married in 1870 and her first child was born in 1878 so I am thinking could she be a child of Jesus Para but another person tells me that he only had one child. So I am not sure who her father is but she uses the maiden name of Pacheco. Her death certificate list her birthdate as I don't know then some one added 1858 later. We have no other document to prove other wise. She died Aug 1934 and is buried in the Georgetown Cemetery. She had 10 kids Maria Jesus, Esiquio II, Manuel, Pedro, Josepha, Adela, Antonia, Marianna, Francisco, Casimiro.
My email is [email protected].
I have pictures of Bentura, her husband, children gravestones for some of her children. After you email me I will email you a copy of Bentura's death certifcate
Little is known about Bentura/Ventura (census records spell her name with a V but death certificate with a B) My grandmother Ventura says her name was mispelled by the Anglo's when she was named after Bentura. Bentura Pacheco married Esiquio Cabrera a miner both were from Mexico. Bentura was a boarding house operator. Still gather stories with my other Cabrera Cousins.
