Possible that the Richard you're looking for is known as Richard III who married Rebecca - moved to Bertie Co I don't have a date of death. According to a possible link to Richard of Jamestown theorized by Pace Soc goes like this:

1 Richard II b 1634 d 1677 m Mary Baker

(1) Richard IV m Elizabeth Caine
There was another Pace line in Bertie Co around that time that is well documented by Gordon Pace. They may have had a Richard about that time frame.
Hopefully someone with documentation will yea or nay what the Pace Soc has proposed.
