I am glad I was able to provide you some help with the Pace family. There are more interested researchers working on these families now and I am sure that it will all get sorted out eventually. I did a quick search on William Paca and his genealogy is well known. I see no similarities with his ancestors and our Pace line. They lived in different states and none of the names match our known ancestors. Without further proof I do not think the story from your grandmother is accurate. I look forward to working with you to find more information on our Pace ancestors.
