By the way Richard, I noted in your post: "Much of my conjecture was formulated from study of Canadian census information of 1842 1861 and 1871. Living in 1861 in Yarmouth was a widow named Annie Pace who was 87 yrs old and who was born in USA. This could be Annie Margaret Welch if the date issues can be resolved. Michael Pace was listed as father of a Jacob Pace in the 1842 Yarmouth census." Do you still have access to the 1842 Census? I think Fred Prong had mentioned that Michael and Annie were living in the household of their son Frederick Pace in 1842. Can you confirm? Also, where you mention that it says Michael is listed as the father of Jacob, does it say the same for Frederick? Last, I'd be interested in getting the info on your line from Jacob Pace to current (trying to keep track of all the Pace cousins here for future generations). Thanks!
