Good evening cousins (hopefully). My name is Dick Wood and I am looking for any help with the names in the subject line.
My third g grandfather Aaron Vincent married my third g grandmother, Sarah An Hopkins before 1820, probably in Luzerne County. Aaron appears as a head of household in the 1820 census in both Abington and Nicholson; and in the 1830 census of Nicholson. After that they disappeared. Later (1860) I find a Sarah Booth in a Broome County, NY census. She has 3 sons living with her all named Vincent.
My purpose in asking for help in Wyoming County is because when Wyoming becam a county (1843), Nicholson came with it.
The family names again are VINCENT/HOPKINS/BOOTH.
Any help is appreciated.

He noted that first came the date of her birth
And spoke of the following date with tears,
But he said what matter most of all
Was the dash between those years
For the dash represents all the time
That she spent alive on the earth
And now only those who loved her
Know what that little line is worth – Unknown
