Catherine Ann Marvin

I am looking for any information about Catherine Ann Marvin, daughter of Seth Marvin and Mercy A. Noble. She is reported to have been born in Luzerne County in 1810. At a later date she married Peter Baker in Cattaraugus, New York; then moved to Wabash County, Indiana; and ultimately settled in Warren County, Iowa, where she died in 1902. I am her great-great grandson.
I am also interested in both of her parents. One account says Seth Marvin deserted from the militia in 1777. I would be interested in a confirmation or refutation of this. He evidently lived to be 104 and had two wives and about 15 children, of whom Catherine was about fourth or fifth by his first wife.
